Recently Google launched another free feature, a URL-shortener service called Goo.gl. Many people chear up new things Google comes up with and most don;t see the picture here. Is this the future of the internet? Google taking over the whole web? You can call me a paranoid but what’s next?
Take a look at Google’s impressive list of free services they offer at the moment. The company once started as a search engine has evolved into some Microsoft-like corporation. What;s the real reason behind this continous expansion? Well, to cut off the middle man off course. Google is earning billion of dollars from Adwords which they have to share with others via AdSense. By cutting of the middle man there is more for Google itself. Don’t ghet me wrong, I chear up the progress, standing still is like moving backwards but stay true to your core! Instead of investing all that money into pointless services they could do some work to actually improve their search engine.Just my 2 cents
